Its 6am, the alarm is blairing and I am forced out of my cozy bed, only to pack my lunch, dinner, running clothes and books into my three bags for my wonderful day of buisness! My first stop, University of Oregon where I studied for two hours and then had an exciting POP quiz in my first class, good thing I did my reading. After my classes I was off to Lane for my hour of officeing, and practice to follow at 2:30. Today was an exceptionally cold afternoon and my athletes and I defintely let some complaints out while warming up for our awesome fartlik!! It was a great day, the girls all did well and hey, I even had a good practice. We lifted and then I went upstairs to the office for some work and dinner, I accomplished some things up there while awaiting the start of my night class. 5pm rolled around and I was off to the Uof O again, class was great, Its a Special Ed class so, Im interrested! I was exahsted though, I acctually started to doze off about 7 (two hours left at that point!), definately not good if you sit in the front row like me, so I had to resort to desprate measures. My tactic to stay awake (listen up night schoolers) is to sit by the open window in a T shirt, being frozen keeps you awake!! The goose bumps were almost painful tonight... I got home early tonight! 8:30... not bad! I guess this is going to be my life for the next three months or so! No time for fun, just work work and run.. I love my coaching job though, it keeps me grounded and Im learning so much! Its pretty awesome to be a part of Lane's program, they did so much for me. Its been an adjustment these last couple months, but I think things are going to be wonderful. I cant wait for track season to start!!
