Okay so Trav and I are advising the Lane team to do one of these puppies and putting the log on runnerspace was one of our suggestions.. here goes nothing!

Nov 24- 20 minutes easy (just needed to clear my head)... 2.5ish miles COLD afternoon, but I felt good, shins sore after.. Half on bark half on cement. Need to find some good trails around my house..

Nov 26 - 35 minutes easy at night with Katie Gilbert.. Rainy and chilly, but it was a great run (felt great except Im coming down with a cold), good conversation. All cement.. need to get to amazon and pres trail!! No shin pain. Woo hoo!

Nov 27- DAY OFF... went to doctor for crazy sinus pressure.. got antibiotics.. I'll probably take tomorrow off too. Acute ear infection again!! Second time in the last month!

Nov 28- DAY OFF-- day off number two.. still sick! Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to run again..

Nov 29- DAY OFF- I keep telling myself that its okay to take this time to get well, but I feel like a freaking loser! Still congested and my ears are pretty sore.. Im running tomorrow!!

Nov 30- 30 min easy... good run, easier then I had thought, we had a couple recruits out at Lane, I was pleased that a few Lane runners showed for the run as well. All in all it was a good day.. A little cole, but its just nice to get out for a run.. Still a little congested, but Im feeling much better!

Dec 1- Nike Team Nationals.. my running was up and down the stairs at NTN, so it was a day off.. oops, thought i'd get home to run..

Dec 2- 30 min easy- felt good, ran alone :( Felt okay.. Still sick. worked 6pm-11pm as a janitor

Dec 3- day off-- oops.. Worked 8-4 (receptionist) on my feet all day, planned to get up at 6am to get a run in, but slept through my alarm, couldnt find anyone to run with... Baby sat at 4. Too dark to run alone. :( still stuffy.. Ears are still clogged. I just want to feel better!

Dec 4-30 minutes... Finally not stuffy! My ears are unclogged.. Let the training begin!! worked 10-6 on my feet again.. Wore the wrong shoes for sure!

Dec 5- 35 minutes... Ran with nikki around 3pm after runnerspace work. Fun day, good run.. Felt good although I couldnt find my shoes so I had to wear flatts.. MISTAKE. Its a good day.. Im feeling a little fat today though. lol

Dec 6-52 minutes.. at 7am (loop went a little long)! Ran with katie before school so it was pretty early.. Rainy, I felt fine.. My feet are sore from work, but I also need to buy some shoes today. It was supposed to be a hilly run, but no time to get out to hedricks. Besides, I have had a rough couple weeks with being sick, Hills werent a good idea for me today.. Run was nice and med/easy. Good day!

Dec 7- 30 minutes easy.. Ran out at lane with Trav and Tara.. good run.. It was nice to see them! Stretched, did a new circuit that I think will be really great! Seems like it worked a little of everything.. we'll see how I feel about it tomorrow!! Ice bath.

Dec 8- off

Dec 9- Went to the snow! Ran around up in the woods, cut down chrstmas trees, carried christmas tree for about a mile! ran for 20 minutes.. I also worked for 3 hours 8pm-11pm at the salon.. I was exausted!

Weekly Mileage- 22 miles

Dec 10- 35 minutes- Ran as it was just getting dark.. BURRR! Feet pretty sore from work, legs are just tired. Ran on cement again. Should be on bark! I was okay. good run. My new shoes are great!

Dec 11- 35 minutes- Ran with Katie in our neighborhood again. Cement the whole way again.. Ran in the dark again.. Im really thankful to katie for running with me.. My feet hurt due to my job, but its norman.. pretty soon I will be used to standing all day. All in all.. It was a good run with a good friend.

Dec 12- Hills today!! 55 minutes- 4 strides at the end! Felt good... Got off work early to run.. Ran at hedricks with Katie.. It was pretty cold and I am in worse shape then I thought.. the run was pretty tough, but Im excited to be running consistantly healthy.. Let the work begin. Im excited to see whats in store!!

Dec 13- 30 minutes- Felt good. Ran with Katie.

Dec 14- 45 minutes on Pres trail 8:30am. Ran with Katie and her team mate at NCC. We lifted then I worked all day. Good day, my tricept got a chalie horse in it though when lifting.. I didnt even know that was possible!!

Dec 15- 6 miles ran wth Katie at Rexius. Forgot my watch so Not sure how long we ran. good run, it seemed to go bye really fast! Im excited to be consistant.

Dec 16- off had a long day of crazy family stuff, worked at night.. just didnt find time to run. Wish I had a place to run at night... I didnt feel like getting jumped in the park.

Weekly Mileage- 32miles

Dec 17- 40 minutes ran with Katie at 7am. We just did a loop around our neighborhood. Good run, katie and I always find great things to talk about so the time flies! Worked 9 hours.. runnerspace meeting tonight too!! I am so pumped!!

Dec 18- 55 minutes ran with Katie again around the neighbor hood.. She ran to my house and then we took off on our usual loop, but i dropped her off at her place, then ran home (12 more mintues) on my own..I sped up a bit. Good run, except it was on cement.. Please dont take me as an example, those reading because I should be on soft sufaces!!

Dec 19- 40 minutes Ran a loop around my neighborhood again with Katie, no choice, I had to be at work by 10.. Body is not liking the cement!! Tomorrow I will hit the trail! Its my day off! WOO HOO..

Dec 20- 60 minutes- ran out at Alton Baker park on some nice bark trails!! Finally, my legs got what they needed, I hope to make it out there more often, I need to. I did some core stuff in he weight room at NCC with Katie. Also did a few of her leg exercises, I could be sore tomorrow! It was a nice sunny morning, the run felt great! I may have tweeked my hammy though.. We'll see tomorrow.

Dec 21- 50 minutes with a ten minute pick up.. Ran out at lane with Sierra and Katie. It was nice to see some of my athletes and Trav! Everytime I get around those people, it just makes me more excited! They are all doing so great! We did some Weights and I did core when I got home. Didnt eat all day so I was kinda shaky. Life is just really busy. Good day, run was nice, it was good to go a little bit faster. :)

Dec 22- 25 minutes-- tummy ache, had to turn around early.. rainy cold and wet!!

Dec 23- 80 minute run! Ran with Katie we ran around 10 miles! ON rexius and Amazon. Our loop went a little long though. Felt good, even though it was pretty soggy. Nothing hurt and Im feeling pretty good!!

Weekly Mileage- 47.5 miles

Dec 24- 40 minute with 5 minute pick up.. Ran on Cement again with Katie.. The run was fine though, although I felt it when I got done, my body just ached.. I need to get on some soft stuff.. Maybe my body was just tired from yesterday.

Dec 25- Off Christmas Day!! WOO HOO

Dec 26- 40 minute run.. didnt get a chance to lift.

Dec 27- 60 minute run- ran at amazon. It was a good run with katie.. Im starting to feel tired though.

Dec 28- 15 minute warm up- Minutes 5,4- 15 minute cool down. Ran with Ryan Ericson.. this was my first minutes workout.. I think this is a good way of doing things. I felt good.. Lifting was good except I have been cramping up with each lift. Maybe Im not drinking enough water.. I have uped my mileage, without upping my food intake and water intake.. i should have thought about that.

Dec 29- Off - I took this opportunity to rest.. I think I needed it.

Dec 30- 60 minutes. Ran at alton baker with katie. We ran faster then usual.. I didnt realize it until we got back to our usual hour spot in 55 minutes. We were pretty excited that we got faster. It was cold this morning.. Im lucky to have katie.

Dec 31- 30min..good run, real easy, Leaving for portland around 3pm.. Feeling like im getting sick, my throat hurts and Im kindof stuffy!! NOT AGAIN..

38 miles!

Jan 1- happy new year! No running.. We traveled home from Portland, and I was pretty sick when I woke up.. So stuffy and my ears hurt pretty bad.. So no running.

Jan 2- SICK

Jan 3- SICK

Jan 4- SICk I mustered up a 20 minute run.. It wasnt pretty.

Jan 5- 35 minutes. felt goodish

Jan 6- 65 minutes at Rexius/amazon-Snowy, rainy, mushy.. Yucky conditions pretty much. But the run was fun. Katie and I made the best of our little adventure..

14 miles Cry

Jan 7- 40 minutes- 6 strides - hurdle drills- abs @ lane! Good run, I got to run with my amazing girls!! Seems like my sickness didnt hurt me too much. It was really nice to get out there with the team.. The abs were great, my back is a little sore today! Good day!

Jan 8- 10 min warmup-minutes 5,5-10 minute cool down (35 minutes all together), Abs, Weight Circuit. It was rainy on the run, but the it stopped as soon as we started the fartlik portion of the run. I felt great except that i forgot my inhaler.. I just had to really consintrate on my breathing. Im pretty wiped out..its only the beginng of the week!

Jan 9- 30 minute bike, Core this was accutally the first time I have ever ridden a stationary bike without being injured.. At first It brought back some bad memories for me. But I realized that its good for me to get off my feet. I got a good workout and felt like I accomplished more then just a workout today.

Jan 10- 50 minutes HILLS at Hendricks 4 x 80m strides! It was nice to get in some hills. I ran with my team and they pretty much rocked it! Although, I did take Sierra and Tara on a little adventure (sorry). I shouldnt be allowed to lead..All in all it was good. My hip flexers were real tired and cramped up a bit in the strides.

Jan 11- 15 min warm up, 3 mile tempo, 15 min cool down, abs and circuit 2.

Today was tough for me.. I ran 7:10 pace. I could have gone faster, but I was cramping up in my abdomen, I think I need to be more concious of what I eat. Meaning I need to eat more. My lift was aweful. Every muscle group I worked cramped up on me. Abs were the same. I got an Ice bath today though, so that was super! Hopefully it helps. All I know is that I need to take better care of myself.

Jan 12- 45 minutes easy

good run, I ran in south Eugene with katie and one of my high school team mates Emily. It was great catching up. I was pretty beat from the week, but felt okay. Im just whiped out I think. Hopefully I can settle into my new schedule here soon.

Jan 13- 75 minutes easy

Ran with Katie.. I stayed up too late last night. We ran out on the bike path in the wetlands by my house. My body is a little tired, but the run went by suprisingly fast. Its sucked that most of it was on cement. But i got on the dirt when I could. Moderately good run, a little slow I think.

43 miles good week.

Jan 14- 45 minutes/core

Jan 15- Fartlik/minutes style. 10 min warm up-6,3,3,3,10 min cool down (about 50 minutes) Circuit/ abs. COLD, the sun was out, so I thought, Yes I can wear shorts!! NOT! I was like a popcicle. The work out went well, the girls talked me into running out to MT Piscah.. It was cement, but flat. We all had a good workout. I felt good. (ice bath too!!)

Jan 16- Cross trained! We went to the pool! Harder then I had expected.. Im not the best swimmer and was sore from the workout (mainly upper body) yesterday. Im a weakling when it comes to upper body strength anyway. I need to work on that. It was definately a good workout. I think it was a good bonding experience for the team too!

Jan 17- Hills at Hendricks. 60 minutes all together..
we ran around hedricks for a while then took off for SE high school where we watched the some OTC and oregon guys do a 2mi test effort.. Pretty cool! Then I ran back up to my car.. Pretty tired on the way back. good run..

Jan 18- 15minute warm up- 20 min tempo- 15 min cool down.Good day.. It was a little hectic, but I got some work in. Im not sure how fast our tempo was, not too fast. We were pretty sore and tired from the week. Good enough.

Jan 19- 30 minutes. ran with some recruits this morning. It was a nice little run on pre's trails. I was glad to do a short run. I think I needed it.

Jan 20- 75 minutes easy.

i ran with one of the eugene running co's marathon training groups. It was pretty fun, Im excited to hear their stories and get to know all of the participants! I had a really good run. It went bye really fast! good day, on cement, but Im okay.

Jan 21- 45 minutes easy. SOO COLD

Good littl run. Tara was back from her vacation, so it was nice to catch up with her! Today was just nice and chill. I was grateful for that. We did some hurdle drills and strides after. I felt like Im getting more efficient with those drills and that is a good thing! Im feeling pretty good,, I NEED to be on soft surfaces on sundays, my poor shin is starting to act up.

Jan 22- 10 min warm up- 5,3,2,1 fartlik- 10 min cool down, Abs, Weights

Good day, I felt fine except for the cold, my lungs werent happy, I forgot my inhaler at home... Not a good idea for someone with Exercise enduced asthma on a 30 degree day.. I think i did the workout correct. My girls are looking better and better everyday. Rach made it through the whole workout (very proud of her) and Leah is looking really good right now. Im excited for these girls!! They are all going to have great Track seasons. Shin still a little sore, but I think its just a little tweek, I get this every year. Good day!

Jan 23- Was going to be OFF, but I ran 20min

My buddy Nikki came over, so I took a break from studieing to go on a 20 minute stroll with her. Nothing hard, just nice and easy. Its still so cold! The run felt good.

Jan 24- 45 min @pre's trail

Good run. Ran with the Lane Team. It went by pretty quick. It was so cold!

Jan 25- 15 easy-10 threashold-5 easy-10 threashold-15 easy.

good run... Im keeping up with leah, which is a suprise to me.. I guess im in good shape. Pretty fun! COLD DAY... it was nice to go a little faster.

Jan 26- DAY OFF!!!!! Much needed.

Jan 27- 75 minutes.. BURR SNOW SNOW SNOW

Good run, the snow kinda messed with me. Im just not used to it. I was a bit tired. But It was a good run. I didnt like running a lone.

Jan 28- 50 minutes.. BURR AGAIN

The snow is really making me mad.. Running is too hard! But it only happens on rare occations. So in a sense it fun..

Jan 29- 10 min warm up- 6,4,3,2, fartlik minutes style, 10 min cool down

SNOW again!! It was fun out at lane though, Im not sure how efficient the workout was, but we made due with what we had. Sierra banged her knee up pretty good, but that was the only "injury" she should be fine. I felt good, the cold gets to me, but it was still way fun!!

Jan 30- Am..30 min easy..PM-Pool workout (1hr)

Felt good. The pool workout kicked my butt, probably due to the running before. I think i need to do my run before 11. I was pooped!

Jan 31- 60 min on SNOWY/SLOPPY ridgeline!!

Being the clutz I am.. I definately fell on the run at ridgeline.. Rolled my ankle a couple times and really made a total fool of myself. I was exauhsted, that run was a killer. SOO COLD!

Feb 1- 15 min warm up- 20min wistle workout-10 min cool down-circuit-abs

This was suprisingly a great workout for me.. My knees were hurting on the down hill... I was pretty tore up from my fall yesterday, but I felt great on the hard intervulls. It was great.. I could have done more.. Im excited about my fitness right now.

Feb 2- 50 minutes Rexius- Alone :(

I really dont enjoy running alone.. I did use by Ipod on my run for the first time.. It helped me focus on running rather then being alone. I tend to not push myself as hard when Im by myself. So with my pod, the time few by. I was tired though, knees bugged me a bit twards the end. But I think I just need to recover from Ridgline.

Feb 3- 25 minutes... had some bad food last night... run of hell!! Had to turn back early.

I meant to go 75 today, but I had some trouble, lets just say I must have either had the flu or I ate soemthing bad. we'll see tomorrow, if Im still sick, then I have the flu. I think it was bad food though. Very dissapointed.. :(
